Sustainable athletic events

I came across this today and was pretty impressed but then again, I don't have the experience that you all have as event directors. Are you all familiar with The Council for Responsible Sport (CRS) ? Is this the future of events?

Hey Toby - it is the future. Please check out our "Tri Sustainability" efforts at http://www.5430sports.com/ECO/index.htm - we are assisting and encouraging other events along these lines, too. Barry.

Toby,

Check out Athletes for a Fit Planet at Athletes for a Fit Planet for advice on going green. We work with the Council for Responsible and have helped many events go green. It's a process - you can always do more.
