Perhaps Cherokee is onto something here. However, in the War on Terror, we are now working hand-in-hand with the Iraqis to build an independent nation. Unfortunately, I heard no reports of tea and crumpets between the two girls basketball teams. So right now I'd have to say that the U.S. military is way ahead of girls basketball as far as diplomacy goes.
Cherokee u really have some strong feelings over there. I hope u feel this strong about getting your posts up.
Maybe i did take it to far, but i feel too many people complain about running up the score. sometimes in life the other person or people are just better.
Well i think highly of myself and not of people who run up the score. Only in Herman Boones case in Remember Titan when he had a good reason for running up the score
Penny I also have high regard for those who don't run up the score, but there are other valid reasons. Like the BCS or to get higher in the PowerRatings, I mean margin of victory matters.
I'm totally with Cherokee on this one. While the war on terror reference is a bit off target (what did the team with zero ever do to the team with 100), what are you supposed to do in that sort of a situation where you're that much better than another team? If you just mess around and refuse to shoot, that's almost worse than being destroyed. Shutting out a team is an accomplishment, dropping 100 is an accomplishment, the coach was doing what he could to make his team better and boost their confidence and that is what he is paid to do
