I used to think my sister loved me but she keeps making me ask all these embarrassing questions. She wants to know the best way to relieve her bladder while training for and competing in and ironman or just riding for a long time.
Any info would be great. Thanks.
Porte potties on the course. I've heard other just go as they ride, but for the few minutes it takes to stop over a 10+ hour race does not seem worth it to me.
Done it twice while out on the road. Once by myself and once with a VERY close buddy.
Pulled the shorts down just enough, handlebar in one hand, other thing in the other, turned enough to the side, and let 'er flow. Had to go slow, but it works. I wouldn't suggest this method as a normal means to an end, but it's tried and true.
Thanks. I'll tell my sister.
No solution but find a restroom...gas station, QSR...bushes..
There is a women's "Tour de France" and you can see when it is time they all go in masses looking for a place..one after the other. It is funny because during that period of time nobody attacks to break away from the group...it is a sport's code.
Take it from an old timer cyclist.
Here's where the gender inequality shows... it's much easier for males.
I came across this problem before and on very long rides I've noticed even the pro's do it on the go. Personally, I always got off my bike to do the necessary because I just can't imagine skunking around at the finish-line.
