Anyone have suggestions for the best hotels to stay at in NYC when running the marathon? Or know of any good websites too book the hotel? I know they're all expensive, but prefer something close to finish line and as reasonably priced as possible. thanks!
Because the race starts in the borough of Staten Island, you may want to consider staying there instead of in Manhattan. That way you will not have to join all the traffic crossing the Verazzano Bridge or taking the ferry from Manhattan. Staten Island hotels are also likely to be cheaper since most of the borough is residential. A good place to start is to Google "hotels Staten Island NY" and check the hotels located near the bridge.
