Another day, another oppertunity to show your body who is the boss! Don't let it tell you I don't want to today, just go out and do it!

    5 Miles on the track for me while my peers did sprints. It was boring at first then they realized how long I was going and started counting the laps and running with me in between there sprints.

    Yeah, my shins are sore. Don't worry, not the bone. It's definitely all those little ligamenty muscley things coming up out of my ankle. Shin splints in the making? Now??? WTH???

     

    Anyway, I am reevaluating my twenty. See post for details.

    OK, got my butt in gear and got out. Gorgeous day on the W&OD trail! Other than a few bikers, had the trail to myself. Put in a nice 8. Feeling good. Ran an 8:45 pace which I would like to slow a bit, though this is fairly comfortable now.

    Beautiful day outside today.  I had to run an errand so I did.  3 miles there and 3 miles back carriny my purchase.  Put in 6 at 7.43 pace, feel great.  There is nothing like a good run to give you that peppy feeling to make it through the rest of  the day.

    Fast food? Ptui.  I did go a bit heavy on the spinach salad at supper, but I think all things considered that's not a bad thing to overdose on.

    Wanted to get out to run today, but wildfires made the air quality really bad. So I did an hour on the eliptical. Certainly not as fun as being outside....maybe tomorrow the air will be better. Congrats on everyone's run. Congrats, Sarah, on your rest day. You earned it.
