Though I agree SoCal has excellent lacrosse, I must beg to differ and submit my claim that Phoenix, AZ would definitely claim the title. Fully hydrated with our excess of drinking water, and with superior coaching from coaches like those at Chaparral, would clearly push AZ over the top...At the very least, they would put a beat down on teams from the Main Line, PA.

Mt. Hebron for women I can respect, but Darien for the guys? I've got too many good friends from that town to ever pick them.

Garden city is a top candidate, they can play in clutch. Also mountain lakes has a very well put together team and should also be acounted for. All of the teams in the western united state do not have the coaching, and talent to compete with the beasts from the east.

what about West Genessee in Syracuse, NY arent they number 1 in the state??

I'm gonna go with Gilman on this one or Georgetown Prep. First off both of these schools are in one of if not the best lacrosse state and area in the nation. We have one of the #1 club lacrosse teams in the nation (Baltimore Crabs), who have won the Vail Shootout the past 3 years in a row. We have the highest recruiting percentage of any state. We also have some of the best schools in the nation ranked in the top 10, Gilman is number 1, and Georgetown prep in 5. Not trying to say you guys don't know what your talking about but the west coast hasn't really gotten into the lacrosse scene yet. They still have alot of work to do to catch up to us Marylanders and other east coast states.
