LUNCH after MCHH

Hello all! Long time no see (except on facebook). I didn't see a thread about plans for lunch after the MC historic half May 17. Do we have a meet up place? Last year the restaurant we chose had to open late because the employees couldn't get there because the roads were blocked off for the race!  But once they opened it was all good.

Chocolate is very nice.

Hi Lee. Long time no hear. I just PM'd Holly about this. The Texas place we were at last year didn't come up on the web this time, out of business? Anyway there is a place (Cheeseburger in Paradise) on the Carl Silver Parkway that looks like it would fit the bill. I told Holly it evens has a glutten free menu available.  Check it out and let me know what you think. Good to hear from you. --- Carl.

As long as it has burgers and cold beer, I'm there.

Yep, Texas Steakhouse looks like it's packed up its spurs and returned to the greatest state... http://www.loopnet.com/property/16010136/1901-Carl-D-Silver-Parkway/

I have a 5+ drive home after the race and Buffett's place doesn't even open until noon, so I'm probably a game-day decision on lunch.

I'm in +1 or even possibly +2 or +3 too.  I've roped a few people into running this race.  MWAH HA HA HA HA!

But we may have to consider Applebees since they open at 11:00.  CiP is great but a noon opening is too late.

I think I just changed my vote - in! Especially if it goes to the 11 am version, don't care about the where.

11am at Applebee's sounds cool.  I mean, last year we were drinking beer at the Michelob Ultra tent at 8:50 am anyway. It's all relative!

I don't need a gluten free menu, I asked for further testing and I found out I'm clear. Pass the bread and beer!

You have to drink beer at 8:50 am! You have to do something while waiting for me to finish!!

Hi Staving!  How've you been? I trust the goats are behaving?

Where exactly is Applebee's?  Is it right there with all the shops?  Close to where we had lunch last year?  This should be fun.  I'm looking forward to it!!!
