Boston!

 

The official NJ Marathon results aren't posted yet, but my Garmin has me Boston Qualified with 49 seconds to spare...3:35:10...which is close to what the clock said as i crossed.  a new PR by about 9 minutes!  Hopefully, the results will be consistent.

 

 

Lots of rain...held with the 3:30 group right up till mile 22, then i knew i was close enough and kind of fell apart.

 

 

...and i'm not feeling all that put out right now either.

 

 

Basking in glory.  "Thankful, focused, calm"...was a good one.

 

 

more later...congrats to the pittsburgh crew and anyone else raining this weekend!

Hey, Jeremiah, the NJ Marathon site at least has gun times up now; your 3:35:23 is good to go, however much you get back with the chip time!

It shows "Service Unavailable" now but it did have gun times up for all marathoners when I posted.

 

Congratulations!  It looks more and more likely I may see you in Hopkinton for 2010..............
