Tempting..........

My wife is finally start to get on board with all my running. We were packing last night and she asked me "Did you pack your running shoes". I kindly said yes but actually thought. That was the first thing I packed along with my Garmin, HR strap, charger, I-pod, running socks, Running shirts, shorts, gels's, running hats. But I figured that a simple yes would surfice and be more appropriate.

Next up: Huntsville 1/2 (11/14), Dizzy Fifties 50K trail (11/21), Rocket City Marathon (12/12), then Recover from the Holidays 50K(12/31)

Can't find the picture online, but there's a billboard heading into downtown Dallas with a small bottle of Maker's Mark that says "Sold Everywhere," then a gallon-sized bottle that says "Sold in Texas Only"

or something similar

Pretty soon you are gonna have to be a marathon a month runner just to be able to run all the RnR events in one year. I wish I was one of the guys that profitted from creating Elite!

I'M IN !!!! I'm coming to Dallas. Holy c***, what did I just do?!! Dallas? I'm never that impulsive .

Oh well. As long as it's true what they say about Texas women. That they're attractive and very punctual . I'm very big on being punctual . (You didn't hear that did you Mrs. Blur?) Good.

Which airport is the best to fly into. Dallas/Ft. Worth or Love Field as far as getting to a hotel near the race?

Love Field is near downtown Dallas. DFW is 30 minutes away (between Dallas and FW, hence the name ).

I can't help you much in the attractive department, but I'm the most punctual woman you'll ever meet.

Well, I just made an interesting discovery. I ran the "first annual" Rock to Victory half-marathon this year in March. It suddenly occurred to me that it's the same time as the new RNR Dallas Half.

I guess it was the "first and last annual" Rock to Victory and Elite took over the race. Hmmmm...
