I'm hoping to get back on track tonight with any sort of activity.  At least a 2 mile run or a half hour easy bike ride, just to get back into the swing of things.

    Is it Friday yet?

    Re: Monday Workouts

While I would love to do my scheduled workout today and attend my lunch time yoga class, I will be doing neither.  It is all work all day (and night) for me.  It's the final push day for the grant I am writing.

    I will run for cupcakes!!

4 and a half miles in 35 flat.  It was a warm muggy swim of a run.  I actually changed right after the run because I di not want to get swamp but.  I may try and run another one later.  We will just have to see.

8 mile bike commute.   Nothing on the schedule this evening so I'll try to get 15-20 in on the way home.

Six-mile tempo run.  80 degree cooking sunshine and muggy at 7:30 a.m.  Yuck.  Not the pace I was looking for, but I'm done.  Probably didn't help that I was dehydrated and only had a piece of salmon and a tomato for dinner and coffee for breakfast.  I know better.

Lifting today. A week from today my MCM training officially begins!! Maybe I'll squeeze in a short run this week, otherwise it's more lifting and swimming for the rest of the week.

    Re: Monday Workouts

Oh, I so wish I could run today but my allergies are killing me!!!  Yesterday I decided to mow the lawn, edge and stuff.  Then I really got down and dirty and started cleaning the flower beds.  Then I went inside and helped Lola vacuum, then I went back outside and cleaned her car from the inside.  Well, I guess messing with all that stuff really kicked my allergies into hyper drive.  Last night I couldn't stop sneezing and the nose just kept running.  This morning I feel as if I am getting an asthma attack and my nose is all jacked up.  I hate allergies.

I did 9.25 miles today and felt great.  It was very humid, but not overly hot.

2 miles of walking. My quads HATE ME. It's like I did something terrible in a past life and karma is coming back to me in lactic acid. Sitting still or walking are fine. It's any transition or stairs that make me want to tear my legs from my torso.

    Re: Monday Workouts

I'm being plagued by a knee injury that just won't quit.  I thought I was fully healed of my knee problem until I busted it again running on friday evening.  It was just 3 miles and felt good up until the last 1/2 mile.  It felt awful saturday & much better by sunday.  So... I tried running on the treadmill today, which wasn't a great idea.  So I did workout today.  1 mile on the treadmill, 15 minutes on the bike and some ab work.  Better than nothing at all.

LOL, Kat, that's EXACTLY how I felt for several days after the Austin Marathon, all those hills and really pushing it full force.  Never had I been that sore...  it will go away soon

Ruby, soooo dam sorry about your knee!  Have you been to the doctor to try to find out what's going on, done any PT with it?  That is so frustrating.  I hope you find some answers soon and can run painfree.  Sorry!

Ran 5 miles of trails, humidity killed me but pushed and ran it at 8.30 pace.
