Email Notifications!!!!!!!!

How do I NOT get all of these email notifications?  I get an email EVERYTIME there is a response to a thread I have responded to.  I have gone the "Email Notification" folder and deleted the threads listed, but that is only temporary - until i post something some where else.  I need help with this, PLEASE!?!?!?

Can the email notifications not be turned of once and that be it?

Re: Email Notifications!!!!!!!!

Go into the thread. At the bottom-right of the first post it should say "Receive email notification". If it doesn't, click on it so it does. You may have to do that for every thread that's causing the problem.

Re: Email Notifications!!!!!!!!

There doesn't seem to be a way to permanently turn off email notifications. The site requires an email address for your profile, so it appears you have only two choices: Don't participate in discussions, or block Active.com as a sender in your email client. That would send everything to your Junk folder, but you'd have to remember to check that folder for other Active.com emails that you really do want, such as race registrations.

Re: Email Notifications!!!!!!!!

Here's the other half, which you said you had already done.

It does work, because I don't get any.
