Okay - I realize this is a LONG SHOT but I figured I would try. I am interested in swimming the 'Minnetonka Challenge' which is a 5 mile swim race held at Lake Minnetonka on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Anyways, to make a long story short, in order for me to get into the event, I need someone to canoe alongside me - I don't know anyone who even canoes or kayaks! I don't have much in terms of finances so I am looking for someone who purely is looking for some time to get out and canoe (with me swimming alongside). I won't drown; it's just a requirement to be in the race. You aren't responsible for anything.
