Hello all. 6 miles again this am but the humidity is back. Plan has a 7 mile run for tomorrow which will be my longest weekday run. I'll need to get out of the house by 4:30 to be able to finish and do adequate stretches (which I will do no matter what..my hammy thanks me every time I do). I'm a little anxious about that 7 miles..don't know why since I've run longer than that distance before...this preparation is really very psychologically as well as physically challenging.
Joe - Hope you're feeling better soon...I hopefully will take a lesson from you next time and will listen to my body before I'm out for 3 weeks.
Spice - hate to admit it but Sunday was actually kind of fun once you got past the being wet part...although the wetness made my feet slip in my shoes for some reason and now I've got a toenail that's going to come off (after it just finally grew back in). That will be my momento of the great monsoon!
Miss Wendy - I hear you on the school thing. I usually love the kids being home in July and in August I'm like get out of my way...they get bored and call me all day long from home to my job...even though they are 16 and 12.
3hungryelks- what do you think caused your feet being sore? Hope they feel better.
Meg - 9 Coasters? Wow...I'd be puking for sure....sounds like a blast.
Navbtcret - I hear you on the diffuculty with the run. Humidity really takes a lot out of me. I drink G2 though instead of water when the humidity is high and it seems to help.
Anj - welcome and wow on your multiple training....you rock!
Sheila - funny list...I bet we all could add a few to that.
Marykb - hows the training going....did you sign up officially yet?
xcmom - hear you about the darkness. It was dark at 4:45 today and found myself with a few deer to deal with. a few months ago (in the spring) when it was also dark at the same time I found myself face to face with what I thought was a cat...well guess what...it wasn't. I was able to make a very wide circle around the fella and no harm was done...I think I surprised him as much as he surprised me.
AHHHHH.....the wonders of notepad.....hope I caught myself up a little now....until tomorrow!
Cyndi
