September Miles

It was my biggest month yet: 177 miles of running! That is so insane. Add to that 15.5 miles of swimming, plus some miscellaneous biking, yoga and a bit of walking and I'm starting to understand why I overslept today And I should definitely get some bonus points for proposing my comps and giving a talk to the department during that time, too. If I get all my miles in next month I'll be over 200. Insanity! How many miles did you log this month?

I do today what you won't, so tomorrow I do what you can't.

Total for September, 159.1, not bad. Update here, haven't run today yet, and it's still September, so that will add another 5.  But I'll post that when it's done.

Nice job Kat, once again I do my best and still not even close to your miles.  I hit a record high for me at 150.  Charlotte, you smoked my best as well.  Man, I feel like a slacker

I'm down there with you Mike!  60 miles for me in September.  Bronchitis really knocked me for a loop for 2 or 3 weeks, but I think I'm back now.  I had a good 6.5 mile tempo run last night.

Bravo to the forum for some awesome running this month!  I don't think I've ever seen a month where we've had so many 100+ mile totals!

    Good numbers everyone!

224 miles for me, that included a marathon from hell. That race on Sep 13th, in scorching weather (90 degrees with around 90% humidity), just melted me for a few days afterwards. Scored my personal worst for 26.2 miles (3:50), but still came in third overall

    Happy running!

    Re: September Miles

I had around 150 miles this month.  Maybe a few more or less but all in all 150 would be correct.  This is a very solid base for me and will work well as the end of October will mark my return to official marathon training.  I have to measure and weigh my options as to which program I wil use to mold to my needs and desires.  I am most definately go with the Pfitznger/Douglas plans but which one I am not sure just yet.  I think I will go with the 55 mile week plan but may bump up to the less then 70 miles plan.  I have a month to figure it out.

Oh and by the way these iles were done at an average of 7:56/mile pace....

126 miles for me (including 3 HM), should have been more but the crud limited one week to a total of 5 miles.
