I am like you - my brain tells me to run every day too! I just enjoy it so much more than lifting or anything else. I always tell myself that each day I get out there and feel great, I have done the right thing! I'm also a mom to a toddler so if I only have time for one type of exercise, I choose running! Like you I also run about 3 miles a day, sometimes 2 if I don't have a lot of time.
