Left hip pronation-makes running hard!

Hi there. I am fairly new to running. Started in May '09. Since then I have run several races, plus a half marathon. My problem is this: my left leg pronates in towards midline so that midway through running(any distance) my left knee and foot are hitting my right leg and foot. Its almost as if I have no control over my leg, making ti hard to run. I have worked out consistently for 2 years, inlcuding weight training. Any ideas or exercises I can do to remediate this problem?

Thanks!

That's quite unusual thing.

I think you should take a rest and visit your doctor. This hitting thing can take you to a really serious injury.

Take care and good luck.

I am now training for a marathon.
