Rapper Lil' Romeo Signs With USC Basketball

Rapper Lil' Romeo, whose real name is Percy Romeo Miller, signed a national letter of intent to play basketball for USC next season and is being written up as a highly recruited guard. He is currently a senior guard at Beverly Hills High and averaged 13.9 points and 5.6 assists last season. He is the son of Master P, a celebrity hip-hop mogul.

 

Is this media hype over a celebrity or is he actually good. Will he see time at USC?

Never seen or heard anything about his basketball ability, but I sure would like to find out.  I might be tuning in to watch USC next season...interesting.

I found a video on youtube with Romeo and Demar DeRozen, who both signed with USC. Interesting video...check it out.

The video is a bit ridiculous, but I would say he's an average point gaurd with a big celebrity name. I kind of want to see him ride the pine to be honest. Demar DeRozen is pretty legit however. He'll do well at USC and will definitely see time way before Romeo.

Yeah from what I've heard about Demar DeRozen you are right on. Romeo is a bit of a mystery to me though and I don't know much about his basketball skills. Should be interesting. Should increase the USC fan base too.
