The course passed some beautiful areas and the people staffing the race (volunteers at water stations along the route as well as those directing runners) were INCREDIBLY friendly and amusing.

Despite the rain, we really enjoyed the course and the volunteers were wonderful! It was well organized with easy registration! The race was a huge success and there was plenty of food for the runners afterwards.  Thank You to everyone who volunteered and participated. 

This was my first half.  It was great fun.  I love the energy of all the volunteers!

I really enjoyed the course!  It was well marked and had plenty of volunteers!  I loved walking by the Reedy River and downtown.  The houses on Augusta Road are beautiful.  Also, it was very nice to have the track surface on part of the course.  That being said, I feel that this race needed more water stations and DEFINITELY more port-a-potties!  When I needed to go, I had to go further than I should have to find a potty.  When I did find it, it was off the path by an abandoned building.  It may not have even been for the race!!
