Here is Brandon Spikes eye-gouging one of Georgia's running backs from this past weekned. Spikes is easily considered one of the best linebackers in the country and this definitly hurt his reputation and will have to sit out the first half against Vanderbilt this week.
Cant say that I like that move. Stuff happens in pile up all the time, but not to this extent. Blatent eye gouging is crossing the line. The sad part is that Urban Meyer only suspended him for th first half of this weeks game against vanderbilt.
The last two videos show a good contrast. Tommy Harris was not very subtle with his punch and he got thrown out for it. The videobefore this one where the kid punches the other kid in the junk was a little better. The puncher concealed his action better than tommy harris did. I do not condone either play what so ever.
