Glory Road - The story of sacrifice for the team and the meaning of "team" great
He Got Game - Jesus Shuttlesworth is the man. Shows how much more than a game basketball really is...
Blue Chips is undoubtedly the best basketball movie. Penny Hardaway is an unbelievable actor. Hoop dreams is real good. Kind of sad in ways but it is just real life. Two chicago kids taking different basketball paths but have the same common dream. Great movie.
Legend Status
What the hell happened in putting Coach Carter in there. Or glory Road for that matter. Or More Than A Game
Have to go with blue chips nick nolte and shaq in the same movie. penny hardaway could of had a movie career if he wasn't so good at basketball.
ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!!
who said white men cant jump, woody had some serious game he was playing ball all day thats why he couldn't dunk that night.
ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!!
I'm going to have to go with Hoosiers, too. Everything about that movie was awesome, save the 80s techno music during the action-sequence montages.
Hoops Dream moved slow but was incredibly insightful into the life of highly touted teenage basketball players. You really felt like you were in Chicago with those kids as they chased the dream. Seeing them go from boys to men was really neat.
I also liked Blue Chips, He Got Game and Love and Basketball.
definately Space Jam and Glory road
I got to go wit He Got Game. Give a role to Denzel Washington and he will make movie worth watching, plus Ray Allen has always been a good basketball player. This movie was perfect for the both of them.
I would have to say love & Basketball!
I can watch that movie everyday and not get tired of it
people you have ot watch it,it has so much that you can learn from.![]()
I love Blue Chips because it showed the behind the scenes look at college basketball as a corporation not a team. Also great soundtrack in that movie
Coach Carter is the best then Hoosiers
I like Hoosiers as a serious basketball movie, and I like Space Jam as a comedy.
i for one liked coach carter. and i think another basketball movie that was good was the one wit earl many goat i forgot what it was called. Love and Basketball is also up there in the top 5 imo and coach carter should be to. i never seen hoosiers nor the shaq one but i will find them on the internet and give my feed back in this post.
All these movies are good but the bet is Coach Carter
