I would say that, overall, the race was a great one. The course was fairly easy. Miles 3 and 4 were completely uphill and miles 10, 11, and 12 were on the freeway-which is on a slant, making for an odd running form as one leg feels shorter than the other.
All racing officials were organized, kind, and on top of the needs of the event participants. There were water stations set up every two miles or so, which was helpful and planned out just right.
I was pleased with the experience and am planning on making the trip again next year.
I enjoyed the race overall. Very well organized, timely, and plenty of aid stations. I also enjoyed the run up Central Ave. in the beginning. If there was something I could change it would be to exclude the portion of running on the Calhoun Expressway and maybe find another route. Otherwise, it was great!
