I wear mine on a lanyard around my neck.

I bought a pouch with a strong clip and clip it to the inside of my pants/shorts.  It can hold a cell phone too.  If you clip it to your pants at the small of your back, you won't even feel it.

I drive a VW (hence i am jelous of your Audi)  My key- probably like yours is a bit bulky to tie to a shoe.

I use a trickthat  i learned when i used to Ice Climb- you did not want to take you keys with you- if you lost it it coudl be a BAD mistake- much safer to leave it at the car...I remove the rest of my keys and leave them in the car-  I then lock my car and put my key on the top of one of the tires towards the back so it is hidden by the wheel well.  The Key to this is that you have to make sure noone sees you do this- or at least any potential thievs.   It has always worked well for me.

I do the same thing as Pinkerbel in the warmer weather - I find that carrying the keys in my hands lets me warn dog walkers that I am coming up on them (I run at 5 AM and the alarm clocks must all ring between 5:30 and 6 because that's when the dogs come out).  However, now that it is getting cold enough that I frequently have to wear gloves I prefer to keep them in the pocket of my shorts (I wear shorts down into the mid-20s - I'm dressing for mile 8, not 1!).  I hate that jingling sound so I have taken to buying what I think are soccer shorts that have a ziped pocket in the back, just below the waist band.  Keeps them quiet and I forget all about them until I need them at the end of the run.  As for the dog walkers, they're awake and paying attention in the cold weather so I never seem to have to warn them!

Nike thermal running gloves in the winter. They have a place for keys. They'er great!

I have an Amphipod that I purcahsed from RoadRunner Sports.  It fits only my key, and it hooks under the shoe laces and velcros shut on the bottom.  I thought I would feel it, but I don't even know its there.  It just looks like I have a growth on my sneaker, and it can not fall off unless your laces come undone and fall off.  and thats no going to happen....

I have the same one.  I wish it was smaller though.  I guess it used to be but Amphipod recently upsized them to fit the fatter larger key fobs.  I usually just carry my valet key or just a house key-  but it does the job!

As the previous poster mentioned, I also have an Amphipod which I clip to the waistband of my pants. I think it was about 14.00 at Runner's World Stores. What's cool about it is that it clips to your belt but the actual pocket fits on the inside of your pants/skirt etc. You dont even know its there. The one I have fits my keys and my Ipod, and its made out of neophrene so it keeps the keys and the ipod dry.
