Well- I am glad to see that everyone seems to have accomplished their thanksgiving goal with varying degrees of success----------------
especially glad to see FatLadyRunning do so well & to see Jess post such a good time in her 5K-also glad to see that though some of us struggled- nobody really crashed and burned
but---,Maybe fair to remind ourselves- thursday wasn't really a "transformative experience'- in the greater scheme of things it was just one more day of running- in a new lifetime of running.
the most important thing-is to KEEP running
so-when is your NEXT run?-how FAR?- WHERE are you going to Run?- how fast?
my next run-is sunday--off road(as always)--- very strenuous 5K course--- HUGE hill
tuesday- flat trail- will run5K---PLUS 10%-so about 3-1/2 miles- I will actually run 3.2 miles-and then 3 minutes beyond that as I am trying to seamlessly transition into building up to the 10K distance.
starting to snow right now-so I guess I am going to have to buy an outer shell today or tommorrow as we are at the time of the year,at last, where I can't continue running in long sleeve tshirts alone- need some semblance of rain/snow proof upper layer.
got to go walk my 13 month old Lab- and then climb up on a customers roof this morning,
Best wishes all,
stephen
