I'm new to the forum, just found it today. I decided yesterday that I would train for the couch to 5k. I'm out of shape and have weight to lose but I'm in it for the long haul.
Today was my first day and it wasn't that bad. I challenged myself but worked at a comfortable pace to finish the 30 minutes. I'm trying to avoid injuries and burn out. Congratulations to everyone that started and finished the program. I'm looking forward to my graduation day from the program and the milestones that I achieve along the way.
Hi Suegy - Check out the 200lbs+ C25K thread.... we are overweight runners on the program. A GREAT thread, and if you're not 200 lbs, don't worry... as long as you are overweight-out-of-shape-need-some-support... stop by!! The thread is so popular that we have to start a new thread every Monday...
