Irish- I've just got to burn thru a lot of calories each week, because I've got weight loss goals of 10#/mo to get me down to a decent size for a sprint triathlon in June. Having that goal also allows me to include a lot of non-weight bearing workouts like swimming and biking. 25 years ago, in my prior life, I actually did (slow) tri's, but my life and my body have totally changed since then.
However, my biking is my weakness and is still just indoors on an exercise bike, 'cause my butts too big for a real seat, and my legs would hit my "spare tire". Eventually, I might try spin classes (but at my own speed). Somewhere I have an indoor bike trainer, that I can mount my bike on, to ride indoors at home. In early spring, on warmer days, I'll get back to longer outdoor rides.
So, in the meantime, I'm doing my own "biggest loser", at a moderate pace, with no Julian or Bob, just you folks.
