Dear friends !
Can anyone tell me how an athlete can qualify for the Olympic Games. Not that I am good enough (hahaha), but I am interested in this topic.
Thanks in advance for your help.
You have to be eligible to compete in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Triathlon in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The USAT website should have more information.
Sorry, I did not make myself understood well enough: I mean on a worldwide level: are there qualification events ? does the world series count ? how many participants as maximum per country ? etc
Thanks again for your help
besides the link above check this one:
think the more world cup points a nations athletes get the more olympic spots they get or something to that effect
goals for 2011:
break 19minutes for 5k
break 2:42 for olympic triathlon probably Anthracite olympic
break 3:16 for marathon ( a long shot but it's fun putting yourself out there)
