I want to conceive in about a year, and I was wondering if any of you had some good resources for books, websites, etc, that could help me gear up towards getting healthier for that time. I see a lot of pregnancy books, etc, but not a lot about healthy conception.
Hey Jennifer, These articles might be a good place to start:
For many years I was told I would not be able to conceive. I changed my eating habits and incorporated at least 30 min of exercise per day. I am a vegan raw foodist now it works for me. it may now work for you but i have two children 13 and 10. Gradually i reduced the amount of fats i consume and i began eating more dark leafy greens. even green smoothies which are 60% fruit and 40 % leafy greens. I train to run half marathons and lift weights at least 4 days a week. I am 46 years old.
