So I understand that Active doesnt respect us 'old timers'

old timers is what CR was made up and was a big component of it's 'value'. I'm not sure what Active has to gain by editing, deleting and just hoping we 'go away'. Doesn't really make sense from a business perspective. Some of us might actually be inclined to stick around, but not if the same ol same ol happens.

I'm just adding my 2 cents.

I`m interested to know what you feel has been edited / deleted

No one to my knowledge hoped anyone would go away - a lot of the old CR people left for various reasons but there is nothing stopping anyone coming back

I stayed - the community changed - but for the most part I see no turf wars here - no one feels they own this place - if the old coolrunning folks want to come back - come back - there was a lot of great helpful people that are missed

I have popped in from time to time, the ID I used somehow became lost even tho my posts are still up. And I would return to contribute to the running forums if the heavyhandedness of the mods would abate.

I'm particularly keen on editing the word 'fárt'. boggles my mind, and I'll keep my distance as long as that particular word is censored.

it's irrelevent whether an active mod edits the word or it's done by an automated rule application. it's silly to censor such a word.
