Where do you put your cell phone?

I saw a similar post about where to put keys while running, so I thought I'd see where people keep their cell phones. I do not usually take mine with me on my runs because it's pretty heavy (not a runner when I got it) and I run in my neighborhood. I will be running in the Dallas Turkey Trot on Thursday and there are supposed to be over 30,000 participants (not to mention all the volunteer and spectators) and I am afraid that I will not be able to find my family once I am done. So I thought that I should take the cell just in case, but I have no idea were to put it during my race. Any suggestions?

I have an Amphipod belt that has a pretty decent sized expandable pouch which I used to hold gels for my hm but could hold a cell phone and/or keys. It also has a spot that the bib attaches to so you can avoid pins (perfect when you have to remove clothing and don't want to repin).
Was about $20.
TRUST THE TRAINING!
You could also leave it with the rest of your stuff at gear check (assuming they'll have a gear check at the race).

Cyndi - I will definitely be checking into the belt. My training runs are about to get longer (hitting the one hour mark soon), so I will need a hydration belt of sort and I saw that most of them have some sort of zippered pocket. Being that my race is only 2 days way, I don't think I'd want to try it now.
Billiken - No gear check at this race. Over 30,000 registered, so they said it was just to big.

FWIW- be careful with phones and sweat... especially if you have a smart phone. I f-ed up my HTC Touch Pro by carrying it in my hoodie pocket for a long run. The sweat activated the moisture stickers... bye-bye warranty.

It's probably late in coming for your Turkey Trot, but I have an Asics case that is meant for cell phones that I for my asthma inhaler in good weather... it attaches to any belt (i.e. fuel belt, hydration pack, etc) it has a velcro tab that attaches around the belt and a flap over the top to keep whatever is in there... well, in there. It works really well for my purposes. Check out your local run store and ask... I bet they'll have something you can use.
I got an armband from Verizon. It is a Body Glove, so I bet it's available where cell phones, etc.are sold.

Thanks for all the ideas! I ended up leaving it in the car, but I found the family very easily. I did get an Ironman Hydration Belt this weekend for my long runs and it has a zippered pocket big enough for the cell phone, Shot Blocks, and ID! Worked great for the 6 miler Sunday.

I use a Nike hydrobelt. It has 2 pockets one in front one in back both have zippers to keep your stuff in.
Put it in a ziplock then the amphipod.
