people with diabetes should first always check with your physician first before starting any kind of program, I have found that lots of fresh air and daily exercise helps a great deal. also be very careful of your diet low sodium and watch your carbohydrate intake, if you live in a cold climate remember to protect your feet this seems to be a common area were problems with this disease occur often. Now don't think that this is the end of the world you can still live an active life you just have to rearrange your nutritional thought process, my nutritionist has told me that you can still eat pretty much anything you want (within reason) but just remember if you have type II take you medication as prescribed and exercise! exercise! exercise!!! let me get some feed back
