Cycling Partner - So Cal

I'm looking for a cycling partner in the So. Cal. area. I'm new to cycling and afraid of joining any cycling clubs ( those guys are brutal!) So, maybe a working mom (like me) with limited time and eager to put some miles on a road bike on the weekends..

Re: Cycling Partner
Hi rnnrchick,
I'm in RSM, (Antonio/Los Flores). I typically cross-country, though I do alot of road on my Specialized Enduro. I'm 48 and I too am intimidated by a club. Need lots more miles under me. I am going to the Long Beach Bike Tour this Sunday. You'd probably need to ride slower for me to keep up. :^)~ I'm Everett everett56@cox.net

Re: Cycling Partner
I am a cycling fool and would like to find someone to bike with on the weekends. I would like to take a trip anywhere from 50-80 miles. I have just gotten back into cycling from my younger days. However, I feel I fair pretty well for my age.

I am a 48 year old female and I live in North Hollywood/Van Nuys area. I ride every weekend and to and from work during the week.

If there is anyone out there who would like to ride with me I would be interested.

Re: Cycling Partner
Carol,

Would you be interested in 40 to 60 mile small group rides? I'm in Redondo Beach and I usually drive up to Santa Monica on weekend mornings to ride with my training partner who I also met through Active.com a few months ago. Most of the others we have been contacted by through these message boards aren't up to that kind of distance yet, so we would really love to have you join us.

Email me at doug.cgs@verizon.net
