Okay everyone, what is an acceptable level of pain during training?  I'm cross training for another half marathon and ran at my race pace for the first time six days ago.  I was really uncomfortable for three or four days, didn't run but walked and swam.

I now have a ruptured ankle tendon and can't run for six weeks.  Help!
