I'm training for a half marathon, and I am trying to get back into running. I ran cross country in high school (mainly to stay in shape, I was never very competitive), and remember my coach telling me I had to change my running style because I tend to kick my right leg out when I run. Now, that I'm training for a half marathon, and eight years older, I'm realizing that I should have followed my coach's advice back then. Does anyone have any advice on how I can correct this, or will it primarily have to be a conscious effort while I'm running?
