Calling all MCHHers for Dinner Sat night

Well its that time again Ladies and Gentleman,

Ive decided we are going to the same place as last year, the food was great and we had Great company. I think we should even add the ice cream after dinner, even though I didnt get any, by my own choise I have to add.

Anyone and everyone is invited, runners, supporter. cheerers,  we can meet for Dinner around 7:00 pm or whenever you can get there..... Its downtown Fredericksburg and there on the list on the MCHH for buy one pasta dinner get second one half off. so if anyone can share with me, thats cool.

    Dennis,

     

    Got to see what the schedule says for baseball, but I will try. That would be 5 for my family. Might see if my buddy and his wife who are running also will be interested.  If so, it would be a total of 9.

    I'll probably pass on dinner at 7 (have to get up early the next morning for some reason...)  6 would have been WAY better but even then for those of us NOT in Fburg, large groups tend to take hours for dinner.

     

    Mike told me about the plans so I felt compelled to login for my semi-annual visit to the Active community.

     

    I'm iffy right now for the race (doing well, not starting because I'm stubborn.)  I have some kind of issue with my foot but I'm not going to say "stress reaction" or "stress fracture" just yet because that would totally hose my training.  Weight bearing and pronation are a problem.  But I'll be there.  I'm still walking and talking.

     

    Post-race I suggest we head to Applebees again. They open early enough to actually get some food.  Everything else in Central Park seems to be closed after the race.

     

    Deborah will be in the mix too but Jenn will not (something about being stationed in Japan...) 

     

    Has anyone heard from Charlie?

    Hey you are Alive!!!!!!!!!!

     

    Sorry if you cant make it for Dinner Saturday, i will look for you on Sunday Morning before the race I will be just inside the front door around 6 am or maybe alittle earlier bib # 1854, I plan to get over there early because im staying at a hotel south of town, didnt get hotel booked fast enough to stay by expo this year... Im planning on heading back home right after the race, its a 9 1/2 hour drive  for me and I have to work on Monday so not much time without a late day...

     

     

    Well hopefully I we can hook up,

    Inside WHAT front door?  The convention center?  I'll get there around 6:00 AM.  I plan to be wandering aimlessly and lining up for the porta potties.  I'm still undecided on where I'll line up for the race.

     

    I'll look for you though.

     

    Wait, we have bib #s?   I really need to pay more attention to the emails they send out. 

     

    I think you planned this trip wrong though.  You should have driven down Saturday and then recovered here after the race for a post-race get together.  Driving after a race SUCKS.

    yea inside the convention center

     

    When i made my vacation plans back in January, it really did sound like a  good idea,  i had drove home last fall right after a marathon and didnt seem so bad.

     

    i will look for you too....
