We ran a easy 5 this morning, ended with 2 max sets of pullups.

    8.5 this morning. Feels a bit cooler. And some ab work.

    Finished 5m at an easy pace, 9:30 and then walked another mile and a half.  Felt good.

    5 miles with lots of hills in the 2nd half. I need to move to somewhere NOT SO HILLY!

    Ahtough I have been running two weeks, I officially started my 'training today' with Aerobic Intervals (7 at one minute) during a 2.25 mile run.

    FIRST Training plan calls for: 10-20 min warm up then 3 X 1600 m at 6:24mpm with 1 min RI, cool down 10 min.

     

    Actual: 16 min warmup @ 7.5 mph
    1 mile @ 9.4 mph X 3 with 1 min RI @ 7.0 mph
    Cool down, 17 min @ 7.5 mph
    Walk and stretch 5 min
    Stair Stepper: 12 min

     

    Note to self: Don't run 8+ miles the day before intervals! I thought training plans were suppose to start you off easy and build up?

    Traveling with work 4 miles on the hotel treadmill tonight.  Tony Horton's 200 Ab routine this morning.  Let's all enjoy the next few days of some cooler weather.

     

    This is my first marathon attempt.  Looking forward to seeing everyone on the 31st.
