Friday 9 Jul

Well week two is all most in the books.  Ran 5.5 easy trail miles this morning around 9:00 pace.  Doing 11 in the morning.  Have a great week-end.

I was supposed to ride my bike this morning, but when the alarm went off it was a no go. I feel like crap. I think it is allergies with a little dehydration thrown in for good measure. I'll rest today and try again tomorrow. I hope everyone has a good run/workout today and a fabulous weekend!

    I will run for cupcakes!!

Jen, my sinuses have been astoundingly crappy as the week progresses and the humidity rises. Last night I could feel my eyes and my right cheekbone bugging out. I totally feel your pain. DRINK MOAR STUFFS. Mmkay?

I did an unconventional form of cross-training today. I changed my tire. Hey, in this weather that's gotta count for something, right?

God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.

4 miles today. Let's just say there was no negative split action going on today.

    I feel for everyone's tiredness.

I truly feel fatigued for the first time this summer.

The heat is crushing this week.

Rest day tomorrow. 5K on Sunday.

I ran 3 miles on the hotel treadmill, it was not AC'd and it must have been 85 degrees and as it was located next to the pool the humidity must have been 90 percent.  NOT FUN!!!  Outside it was just about the same here.

9 miles, 3 at tempo pace. Good heavens, you have to be at peace with a whole lot of sweat in this humidity.
