Hey folks, glad to see you still posting away in my absence. I'm back from vacation, did absolutely no exercise beyond playing in the pool and walking while sightseeing. I'm a bit tired today but will probably try to get in a yoga workout at some point, and back to running on Monday.
Curtis, it sounds as though you're doing well keeping on it while you're rehabilitating. I like your attitude with it all.
DJ, are you overtraining perhaps? Concentrating on time and not enjoyment? Maybe too goal oriented and pushing yourself too much? Just not really liking running and are just realizing it? There can be physical and mental reasons for your difficulty, and really only you can figure out what's happening. If you do and feel like sharing it, please let us know.
Sounds like the heat might be affecting most of us! Frankly I'm glad I'm not the only one. I couldn't imagine trying to run this past week, it was 95 degrees with unbearable humidity in Memphis.
