Alan gives some great tips here, especially number 4 "Don't confuse being busy with being productive" - so many young kids, and even adults don't maximize their time. Use your time wisely, focus on the task at hand, be results driven and you'll start seeing the outcome you hoped for.

These look like some pretty good tips for a bball player
this helps a whole lot. I'm a freshman in high school about to be a sophomore next year and this really helps take a whole lot of pressure of my back. Especially since I play both football and basketball, but I still don't know which one I love more.

These quotes helped me a l o t. Teachers give tons of homework, if you start falling behind in class, you will get kicked off the team. But if you have good strategies in getting everything done, you will be just fine(: Thanks for the tips!
