Is this book good?

is the running book "on the edge" by kirk jhonson a good book? i just bought it today.

I've never read it, but, I have seen the movie called "On the Edge" It is about a former world class 10k runner who had been stripped of amatuer status. The movie was ok, not great; but a must for runners. Is that the story of the book as well?

no, the book's an autobiography of the author. he has never even run a 1/2 marathon and decides to run the Badwater 135 mile ultra. the book is his story of his race! it sounds good. I'll come back and tell ya about it!

dang, are u serious.. that is crazy.. i would b e surprised if he finished.. just because that is a HUGE increase in distance... physically and mentally a incredible change

wow, that sounds cool. i love hearing ultramarathon stories. dr. k shall do one himself someday. definitly give us a report on the book!
