NCAA XC Championships

Ahhh - I feel so bad for all my fellow CoolRunners! I myself - living here in the great state of SC - am going to Furman University tomorrow to watch the NCAA's. What me to say "hi" to anyone? Ritz? Torres? Cheboiywo? even Webb? Well, I'll definatley bring you guys a full report - just 'cause I know it will make the Kenyan jealous!

Re: NCAA XC Championships
Wow - It was so incredible! Of sourse you guys know the finishing results, but the battle inbetween the gun and the finish line was incredible! Torres was strong the whole way, but Ritz. was who surprised me. He was about 20th at the 2 mile mark, but slowly worked his way up and really smoked the last two-miles for a 4th place finish. Webb was strong from the start, (never less than about 10th, but then at the end could not hold onto the top. BTW - you guys were arguing whether or not Webb and Ritz disliked each other a while ago; they were chatting and even hugged each other at the end of the race. They were really glad to see each other. Anyway, the girls race was decided in the first mile! The girl from Arizona didn't run like any distance runner I've ever seen. Watch a really good girls 800 runner, and then picture that form for 6000m. That's what this girls from Arizona looked like the ENTIRE time! It was impressive. Catch you later...
