Re: anybody running footlocker northeast?
im not - i did last year but i dont feel like it this year. actually, the first mile-ish is flat-it starts on the field, then you go in the woods and its stillflat. except for one huge hill right before the bridge, then after the bridge its mostly hill in the scond mile. then it gets easier and more downhll, then you come out of the woods and around the other side of the huge field and its all flat to the finish. almost the whole course is gravel, with a couple hundred yards asphalt and the very beginning is grass. so i wouldnt recommend spikes. ive run it dozens and dozens of time so its like home to me. good luck!

If you win the race, it's going to hurt. If you lose, it's still going to hurt - so you might as well win while you're at it!!!

I'm running it too. I ran last year as well, but not the seeded race, which I think I will do this year, but I am still deciding over that and sophomore. The course is nice but really hard.

Re: anybody running footlocker northeast?
Turns out I'm not going to be able to go, but if any of you happen to see the freshman boys race, could you please cheer on Chris Barnicle for me (a simple "go chris" would do) He's really shy, but really good. I wouldn't be surprised if he won. He ran 16.13 to come in 13th in MA state championships, and hes 13 years old. He'll be wearing a newton north singlet. thanks, and goodluck to all!
