Texas KAOS 16u – **NEW TEAM**

The Texas KAOS 16u team will be a new team selection for the fall season. The KAOS 16u team will be coached by current HBU (Houston Baptist University) softball players, Holly Webb and Kendall Stiefel. Holly is a current catcher and third baseman power hitter for HBU. Kendall is a current pitcher for HBU as well.  Both bring valuable insight to the game and are key positions in building a solid foundation for any team. Together their knowledge and experience of the game will help elevate our 16u players.  The Texas KAOS 16u Program will work closely with our 18u Gold program in developing athletes who advance seamlessly onto our Gold team when the time is right. As with our Gold program, our 16u team will use SPEED and QUICKNESS as the building blocks for their program. Developing our 16u team is a high priority and having both Holly and Kendall at the helm gives our 16u team a strong boost.  Contact Holly Webb at for more info on 16u tryouts and to RSVP. There will be a $20 non-refundable registration fee per player for 16u tryouts. Please make checks payable to: Texas KAOS 16u.

Texas KAOS 12u (Odneal)

The Texas KAOS ’00 team (10u) is now moving up to 12s after a top 10 finish at the 2011 USA/ASA Nationals this year!  Prior to Nationals, the ’00 team won every tournament for the fall and spring season, except two, which they placed second. The team is poised for a successful 12u campaign. Arguably, one of the top teams in the state of Texas in their age group, the team will have a few open positions to compete again for a National title.  The roster may be capped at 11-12 players total. Coach Odneal is looking for FAST ATHLETIC players to finalize his roster.  He will be hosting his tryouts on next Saturday, August 20th from 3:00-6:00 pm on Field 2.  Please contact Coach Odneal at to RSVP for tryouts.

Texas KAOS 12u (Duong)

The Texas KAOS 12u has completed its first year of 12s by securing a 3rd place finish at the 2011 USSSA Nationals at the Disney World Complex in Orlando, Florida.  The 12u team will be comprised of primarily 2nd year players and be focused on competing at the USA/ASA National level. The team is looking for KAOS type players...athletes who are FAST and ATHLETIC and have a good understanding of the game. Head Coach Peter Duong is looking for several spots to round out the roster for fall, spring and summer competition. Please contact Peter Duong at for more info and to RSVP for tryouts.

Texas KAOS 10u - (’01 team)**NEW TEAM**

The Texas KAOS 10u team will be a new team developed in the fall with ’01 birthdays.  We feel it’s important to continue to develop our organization from the ground up and having a new team with second year 10s is vital.  Dennis Odneal is a vital part of our organization and will help oversee the development and recruitment of our lower tier teams, 10u, 12u, and 14u programs.  Brian Grove and Jason Kraynek will coach the Texas KAOS ‘01 team.  The new team will also have Bert Emanuel and Dennis Odneal help with player development and practice organization. Contact Brian Grove at or Jason Kraynek at for more info on 10u - ’01 tryouts and to RSVP.  There will be two (2) separate tryouts...Sunday August 14th (1st tryout) at 1 pm at MCGSA Fields and Saturday August 20th (2nd tryout) at 1 pm at MCGSA Fields.

When replying to RSVP, please state the following: Player name, playing positions, former team name and previous playing division.  Also state which age division currently trying out for.

The Texas KAOS Softball Club is looking for serious committed players and parents who are willing to make a commitment to be developed by some of the best coaches in our area.
