Great race, beautiful course, very well organized and lots of fun! Excellent band playing before hand to get runners pumped up. Great for beginners and veterans alike! Would highly recommend to anyone eager to contribute to a great cause on a beautiful September morning!
Great Race! The music was great, I really liked starting with the National Anthem. The course was fast, well marked and monitored. I love the grass finish. Sponsors did a great job with lots of good food at the end. Race Director Paul Ruckle should have a big round of applause!
My wife and I ran the event to have something fun to do together and to support a good cause. Both of us really enjoyed the run. The course was fun! The organization was great! The volunteers were friendly and helpful. 2010 was our first time running in this event and we definitely plan on coming back next year!
My first race ever and I loved it. Very organized, easy parking, nice music, simple process. The band and National Anthem were an awesome bonus. The course was terrific. Can't say enough good things. My only cons: I think they should have the walkers and runners either start separately or divide the start into sections. An extra porta-potty or two is always good. Can't wait to improve my time next year. Thanks to everyone who helped with this event. 5 stars!
This is a great Race. I started my running career at last years Grasshopper Bridge and return this year and will again for many years to come. Nice course thorugh the Streets of Moon Valley where the residents come out to cheer the runners on. The volunteers are Fantastic and really cater to the runners.
This is by far the Best little race in Arizona.
This race was very well organized. The course was nice as it winds through the neighborhood and ends at Moon Valley park. There's probably enough people to separate runners from walkers. It was hard to navigate through the walkers at the beginning (I was a runner). Overall, I thought it was a great event.
