The OBR board while more active is also quite slow. I know that part of this is the "time of year". Posts generaly slow down, and also stop for some participants when the winter is at your front door. But I and many of you know it is also exascerbated by this new cumbersome web design.
But there is a BRIGHT SIDE to this new format! And a very big one if I may be so bold.
Anyone want to guess what it is? Anyone, huh, huh,.....how about you Don, or TG, you should know.
That's right! No freakin HENRYS BASEBALL CLUB!
Now while I had help getting to this new format and while I also helped a few others migrate here, let's all pinky-swear to give ol HENRY the bums rush.
(especially you TG and you Don, you must promise. Cuz I know that you were especially big fans of HANK the STANK)
Time wounds all heels.....
i promise. LOL TM
HENRY showed up on InfoSports. I tagged his posts as spam and wrote on what a scam artist HENRY is, and what he doesn't know that his website would lead you to believe he knows. That is what he could lead you to believe assuming you speak jibberish as a second language or JSL. His posts were deleted. HENRY never returned.
Dunno why it's slow. Some interesting stuff is going on this time of year. Like the writer who left Posey off his rookie of the year ballot. And the other night our local LL BOD voted to exclude 4 year olds from playing teeball this spring!
We did the same thing - no 4's in t-ball.
IMO - that's a GOOD thing.

I agree, and I voted against the 4yo's too. I don't have a big problem with them playing at 4 - my kids did at YMCA program - but they shouldn't be playing with the 6yo's in LL. More importantly, if you have 4's playing teeball that pushes everybody up. The parents of the 6yo's don't want their kids playing 3 years of teeball, so they all lobby to move up to machine pitch a year early, then everybody in that league is a stud who needs to move to minors, etc.
I believe posters aren't traveling here due to the pat downs. Pat downs are another attempt at the Obama administration to make a grab at the private sector. There's also the economic aspect. The economy is so down what used to be called the family jewels is now being referred to as junk. But look on the bright side. Since the US profiles objects rather than people, if the terrorists attempt bombs in the form of suppositaries we can get our annual physical at the airport. Got to go! We're having a fantasy night. I'm the traveler. She's the TSA agent.
VERY good analogy TG.
I'm guessing that TSA now stands for Tool Squeezing Administration? Will we get to pick which agents do the squeezing?
