HOW MUCH BREAK IN BETWEEN

Hey guys,
I was doing my 1km repeats the other day and I was doing each repeat around 3:30-3:35 a km and I was taking 3 minutes break between each and I did 4 reps.Is this enough recovery time or should I do less?
Thanks
Robert

Re: HOW MUCH BREAK IN BETWEEN
what we do up at school is start to cut back on the rest for every week. like if your doing 4 minutes rest this week, cut down to 3:30 next week, and keep going down until you feel like it is the least rest you can get. when we were doing them last spring, we got down to 40 seconds rest with an average of 3:10 1000's. Keep up the good work!
