1. GREAT GRADES...Work on having great grades...It is easy for colleges to find really good atheletes...It is hard for colleges to find really good athletes with great grades...
2. Be the team leader through example: Be first to practice and last out. Help your teammates become better.
3. Have class on the court, Don't be a show off... let your triple doubles do the talking for you.
My son is a baseball athelete...Unfortunatly he didn't pay attention to number 1 on the list above. So after he dazzled college coaches with his arm, speed, glove and power, they would then look at his grades and then tell him to get his grades up at a junior college and come back in a couple of years.
