What's your go to move. I need some more just in case. Right now mine is a in and out cross over. I'm pretty good at it and i can do it pretty quick. It usually works trying to get around someone for me. I was just wondering what yours is though because i want to try some new moves.
My go-to move is a between-the-legs and then crossover...works really well for me. You set up the first move kinda slow and then just explode with teh crossover.

mine is the spin move, i luv it when im trying to get a lay up in a crowded lane, if u do it fast its so effective and its hard for a lot of people to guard
Well, if you're trying to find some moves, I would suggest going to YouTube and searching Ganon Baker Basketball. He's got tons of explosive moves, drills, and ball-handling exercises. I play center/small forward and I am working on my ball-handling and Ganon Baker has helped a lot.
my go to is a pump fake drive by. first couple times i'll take it to da rack, but after they get smart and know i blow by everytime, after two dribbles i just pull up for an easy 7-10 footer.
by the way, roughrider4life2 i REALLY like the thing at the end of of your posts," hard work beats talent if talent doesn't work hard". tht is something i deal with a lot.
What ever move you decide on make sure you work on taking the next step past your opponent. You can have the most simple move ever but if you can be efficient ion your moves then its hard to stop. I always teach my kids to step directly beside the oppents foot, once your even with them they are beat.
My go-to move is the in and out or the hesitation. I think the hesitation should be the first move that any basketball player masters.
Haha, thank you. I always thought it was an awesome statement. ![]()

Double crossover then spin
I fake one way, cross-over, and get around the defender. If worst comes to worse, work on passing:)
Once you have the hesitation dribble down, it can kill the defense, especially in the open floor. But if it's in a half-court one-on-one kinda thing, the trickiest move I pull off in a real game is an in-and-out dribble, then behind the back once you have the defender leaning the other way (you could do a crossover, but I find a behind the back in that move to be a tighter, faster dribble)
My go-to-move is a Hesitation,In & out, Stepback. It creates alot of space for a great shooter.
yeah but u got it from nba 2k11
Mine is the crossover spin move, I'm like 5'2ish and i play point but even on big men it works alot if your explosive with it.
Being a center, i like to post up a lot, but my favorite move is the Pump fake, then the drive to the basket, i like the contact because im a perfect free throw shooter since my game is in the Mid range shot.
