If you are a parent and you participate in different 5K runs/races in the Baltimore and DC area, would you take advantage of onsite babysitting offered while you run in a race/event so your kiddo could join you in the festivities and fun after the run?  Not like a daycare, just someone to play a few games with your kid until you have completed your run, 30 min to an hour.

My kid is too young to run with me, but old enough to have a blast in the activities after the run/race.  For those of us who don’t have family close, finding childcare for morning weekends is hard and expensive.  I don’t think I am the only one with this problem, so I am thinking about starting a business that offers care (games or race watching) for kids over 3 while parents run.  Small fee, small kid to adult ratio, safety measures followed… I just want to ask if there are people out there right now that would take advantage of this opportunity?
