Help with Knee

I jog/walk 4 miles, three days a week. Slow Running.

Sometimes I get a pain at the start or somewhere in the middle of my routine, then it is gone. The pain is on the my right knee, inside, front, corner on top of the knee.
I have had two ortho surgeries for meniscus tears within a 4 year period.

I am not worried about it, but starting to wonder about it.
Does anyone have an idea of what it could be?

Re: Help with Knee
runrickrun,

Might need a bit more info to get better responses. Is the pain in the same knee you had surgery on? Does it seem to be associated with the knee cap? Is it a sharp pain or dull, or a burning pain?

Re: Help with Knee
Not a doctor, or anything- but it kind of sounds like ITBS (considering it's on the outside, front of the knee and that it comes and goes).
If you have ITBS you can walk fine and don't get pain until you run for a while...
