foot went numb.

I bought a new pair of running shoes. The first day I ran in them they seemed fine. Tonight I tried to run but my left calf tightened up too much and I had to stop and walk. I never recovered enough to run. My calf loosend up but my foot half way up my calf started to tingle until I couldn't feel my leg any more. It felt like it was asleep from the shin down. I've been achy in my shins so I"ve shortend my runs but tonight I couldn't run at all. Is it the new shoes or did I hurt something? Curious to hear your thoughts.

Thanks,
Pink

I'm no expert but something similar happened to me...my one foot went numb when running. So I loosend the laces a bit on that shoe and everything has been fine since. So maybe you have them laced to tightly or they are simply too small for your feet and are cutting of circulation.

Did you get them fitted in a running store? I had similar problems when I was running in shoes that didn't support my footfall (I need motion control shoes and these were neutral)
